Happy 1st Birthday Caitlyn!!

Well it finally snuck up on me, Caitlyn had her 1st birthday. We planned a small little family dinner at home and then a little party with cake and ice cream at Dave's Office building. Caitlyn was having a bit of a rough day as she has been teething a lot the last few weeks and is just starting to cut through her top two teeth. We had so much fun with family and friends. The best part as usual at a first birthday party is watching the baby go after the cake. After the cake we cleaned Caitlyn up and let her open her presents (thank you family and friends). It definitely was sensory overload for her but she smiled and went along with it all. Here are some pictures from the party for you to enjoy.

Video of the Yates Traditional Birthday Bear singing for Caitlyn.. She giggled and tried singing with it earlier at dinner but just smiled at it during the party.

A Glow worm from Jocelyn

Ethan got her little farm animal shaped car.

A musical cookie jar with shape blocks from her Grandpa and Grandma Battson in Washington. She really enjoyed the lights and music.

A musical choo- choo from the Barnetts and the Robinsons.

A muscial blender with shape blocks and a spining bottom from her Me-me and Pop- Pop.

A See and Say spinner from her Aunt Dani and Cousins.
She also got a really cute pink jumpsuit from her Grandpa and Grandma Yates.
Now as a 1year old Caitlyn has decided she is going to become a bit more mobile. She is still not walking yet but can go from crawling to sitting straight up to sitting on her knees. She also pulls herself up to standing in her crib and tries to stand up from crawling (however this looks more like a yoga move than standing). She has her 12 month check up on wednesday, so I will update with growth stats then. Caitlyn has really come into her own personality, she is such a social baby and is happy 95% of the time. We are so blessed to have her as apart of our little family.
Happy Birthday to my littlest Princess!

What a fun birthday. I can't believe how much she liked the cake. I have done this with my kids but they have never loved the cake so much. So cute!!
