Caitlyn's First Giggle

Okay so we are calling it a giggle because she is still too little for the gut laugh.. but it is soo cute we had to share it.

Jocelyn's Dentist Appt.

Okay so I finally (yes, I know I am a slacker, my hand has been slapped) got my kiddos into the dentist in May. Only to find out my poor Jocelyn has my awful porous teeth, which translated into 4 cavities, honestly I don't know very many people that think to floss toddlers teeth. Anyways today was her first experience with "the dentist" the way many of us in our adult age expect to experience, with drilling and shots... She was soooo GOOD!!

They came back to get me after they had numbed her up to tell me how proud they were of how well she was doing. She didn't cry and raised her hand if she was uncomfortable, I was sooo impressed with my little jo. She is getting so big and is doing so many things by herself now..its crazy. Here is her new silver tooth she got today she goes back for fillings at the end of the month, poor kiddo.

Okay so we were testing out the Bumbo Seat with Caitlyn and thought it was a great photo opp. She is still pretty wobbly but did pretty good and actually enjoyed it for about 15 minutes. I even got a little video of her cooing... She is 3 months old now and is changing more each day. I can hardly believe that it has been 3 months since I had her, it is hard to remember what life was like when it was just the four of us. I just love this little girl to pieces.

Our Trip to Utah

Okay so I am officially banned from the camera on vacation as I forgot to bring it with me almost everyday...however, I did remember to bring it the day we went to Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum and our Hogle Zoo trip. We had a great time in Utah seeing friends and family, we could have done without the illness and rain. Honestly, I wish I could just move everyone out here to Texas so we could see you all more. Anyways here are some pics from our trip. I will see if i can get the pics Kristy took at Kangaroo zoo too!!

Okay so this was really funny... Ethan pulled out his potty-training potty stood on top of it and started to sing for me...of course I ran and got the camera and made him start over...tooo cute!!

2 Months Old

My Little Caitlyn is two months old. Her newest baby trick is cooing and the occasional smirk. She is still giving mommy a solid 6 hours of straight sleep at night. She is such a great baby and her brother and sister absolutely love playing with her even though she doesn't really play back yet. Anyways here are her latest STATS:
Weight: 9lbs. 5oz. (10-25%)
Height: 21.5inches (10-25%)
Head Circumference: 37.5 cm (10%)

Jocelyn's Scissor Incident

I guess I really should have blogged about this sooner, but just haven't had time to blog here lately. Anyways here is the story: I was just about to get in the shower and Jocelyn came into the bathroom. When I looked at her I noticed that one of her pig tales were extremely short compared to the other, and it hit me.....she cut her hair!! I said where are the scissors? she said they were upstairs. SOoo I sent her to time out and went up stairs to find a pile of hair in her bathroom. After I cleaned up that mess and took a shower we headed off to the Fantastic Sam's by our house and fixed her hair...she of course was just tickled pink because her hair "looks just like mommy's". Needless to say I thought I had hid all the scissors in the house so well, but I guess it is a right of passage thing for little girls to cut their hair.

Caitlyn's Baby Blessing

Today was a wonderful day, not only because I am getting pampered by my loving hubby and precious kiddos for Mother's Day...but because we were able to name and bless Caitlyn today in Sacrament Meeting. Cailtyn recieved a beautiful blessing of health, happiness and sensitivity to the spirit by her father. We are so blessed to have the priesthood in our home, it was wonderful. She wore the dress her Grandma Yates made for Jocelyn and made it through all of sacrament meeting before having a major blow-out. Wish you all could have been there.

Ethan's Birthday Party Fun!!!

So we decided on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse this year... Ethan had a great birthday and was such a trooper and party animal after going for his 3 year old check-up and getting a shot.

Can't believe how fast time flies when your having fun and chasing after this little tank!! Happy 3rd birthday little man!!!

Caitlyn's 1 Month Update

Honestly, I can not believe that my Little Caitlyn is already one month old. She is such a good baby and is very patient with me. Her newest baby trick is staring at lights and puckering her lips. She just started this week giving mommy a solid 6 hours of straight sleep at night, what an angel. Anyways here are her latest STATS:

Weight: 6lbs. 14oz. (5%)

Height: 20.25inches (10-25%)

Head Circumference: 13.25 inches (5%)

She got one shot today and although she nearly turned purple from crying so hard, once mommy picked her up she calmed down to a gentle whimper. She is such a trooper.

Caitlyn's First Official Bath

Okay so I should have posted this awhile ago, but I am busy now a days :)

Caitlyn's umbilical cord remnants finally fell off at about 3 weeks so it was time for her first official bath.... and she loved it. She sat in the warm water trying to eat her hands the whole time. The only thing she really didn't like was when it was time to get out of the bath, but who can blame her really.

Of Course I have my wonderful bath time helper to help me out when mommy sees a photo opportunity :) What a couple of cuties
